Emilija Karaliute plays the Lithuanian Harp (or Kankles in Lithuanian) which is similar to a UK Classical Harp for versatility and range and sound but is a flat instrument not an upright one.

she has received the National Laureate for Lithuania twice. She plays many varieties of music but for our concert she will be playing Classical Music pieces
by composers from all over Europe and will also tell us some history and information about her instrument during the concert.
You can find more information on her website at www.balticstrings.com or if you are on facebook she is on facebook as Emilije Karaliute (@karaliute.emilija)
