Active communities
Would you like a say on policing in your area? We are looking for members of the public to join Independent Advisory Groups (IAG) across the Thames Valley. What are IAGS? IAGs are a way for our communities to work directly with the police to improve the way we work and the service you receive. Meeting four times a year the groups are made up and chaired by independent members of the public, supported by officers from local policing teams. IAG members represent their communities, sharing their views on policing issues affecting local people and challenging them where necessary. Who can become an IAG member? Anyone who lives or works in Thames Valley can join their IAG. We encourage people from a variety of backgrounds, ages, races and religions to get involved to ensure the group reflects the diversity of the local community it is representing. How to get involved?
