An evening of infectious fun, musical charm and virtuosity from Britain’s leading hot-fingered mandolin maestro Simon Mayor and his merry crew of Mandolinquents. Simon is joined by the internationally renowned guitarist Gerald Garcia; 'one of Britain's finest voices' and pounder of the mighty mandobass, Hilary James; and three-time UK banjo champion Richard Collins.  Their programme covers everything from hot swing fiddle to Irving Berlin, Tchaikovsky and lively Scottish reels, beautiful traditional Irish ballads and the occasional Chinese or Brazilian folk tune.
