Originally from the Czech Republic, Radim Zenkl occupies a totally unique place in the world of the mandolin: Originally from the Czech Republic, he escaped to the west in 1989, just one week before the wall came down. Three years later he won the US National Mandolin Championship, Radim has appeared with numerous top American bluegrass and country musicians. He also plays a variety of ethnic flutes including the didgeridoo.
