----------------------------------------------------
Oodles of musical charm and hilarious repartee from Britain's leading hot-fingered mandolin virtuoso Simon Mayor, silver voiced songstress Hilary James and wielder of the mighty mandobass, and Andy Baum, celebrated crooner and No1 Frank Ifield fan.
Once was a time when the future looked black as vinyl for 'Slim Panatella and the Mellow Virginians' ... Seemed like they'd spurned their spurs, pawned their palaminos, sat on their stetsons and headed into the sunset. But the trail took a U-turn somewhere near Chipping Sodbury and the Thames Valley's favourite cowpokes found themselves heading back west. Guess that ol' longing to lasso a longhorn and that craving to cuddle a cactus never really leaves you!
Sassy Hilary James (blessed with the sweetest voice west of Windsor), mean-fiddlin' Simon Mayor (talkin' about his poker playing here) and guitar pickin’ fine talkin’ Andy Baum bring their unique brand of hot Western Swing, ragtime, close harmony bluegrass and old-time music to Berkshire’s best sasparella saloon, the one and only Yattenden Brewhouse. Hell! You don't spend thirty years branding cattle and skinning mules without learning subtlety and good taste!
