Streatley Rec Night Glow 12 Aug 2019
Come along to the Night Glow and bring a picnic!
Members of the local Balloon Club will be putting up their
balloons on Streatley Rec on Monday evening (13th August). They are hoping that the balloons will start inflating
around 7.30pm, but they will be sorting them out and doing inspections before
then, so there will be things to see.
If it is not too windy, they will do a display lighting them
up at dusk. This has not been possible in recent years, as the wind
picked up during the evening, but we hope conditions will be good this year!

Come along and bring a picnic; it is fun evening, especially
when there are lots of visitors.

The Night Glow will take place on Monday 12th August 2019 starting from 7.30pm. The start may be delayed to 8pm if the winds are high, to give them time to drop.

The balloons will inflate but will remain tethered to the ground. If wind conditions are OK, they may ascend on ropes. The event continues after dusk when they will light their burners to make the balloons glow.

Please bring a picnic to make an evening of it. We will not be providing catering or a bar.
