As part of Cholsey’s Month of Music, Three Pressed Men will give a concert at The Cholsey Pavilion on Friday 10th July, starting at 7.30 pm.
With a rare talent for harmony and a repertoire of English traditional folk music that’s as large as it is varied, Three Pressed Men have been delighting audiences in Berkshire and Oxfordshire for many years. Whether playing lively dance tunes or blending unaccompanied voices, there is always something fresh in their arrangements and a story to be told about the origins of the piece. Who else can present multiple concertinas, guitars, accordion, melodeon, keyboard and even a smattering of cutlery?
Tickets are £10 at the door (cash or card) and there will be a reasonably priced real-ale bar. An email to concerts@cholsey.com or a call to 01491 652295 will help us plan seating and provisioning, so we’d love to hear from you.
